You are what you eat and what you do! 

If you feed yourself and exercise appropriately you will reap the rewards and benefits of that effort.  Many advances in health and fitness have proved that common sense , balanced lifestyles are the best.  I don't believe it really should take that many studies to figure it out since eating less quantity, correct quantity and doing more basically creates the correct environment for the body to function properly and be at it's correct levels. 

If your goals are more intense and related to a specific activity or sport then dialing in and tailoring your program accordingly is necessary to make sure the body is being nourished properly.
